Cows of Highland County

My friend Harriet Oler has a second home up in Highland County, Va., one of the prettiest places in the world. It's all family farms in Highland County. You won't find any McDonald's or 7-Elevens -- just a few small country stores, but no real grocery stores. Actually, there is a Dollar store now in Monterey. Mostly, there are barns, sheep, cows--lots of cows. This painting is called Highland County Cows, 28x34".  Its a 2014 work.
